What do you think about when you wake up first thing in the morning? Does the reality of morning startle you? It has often been thought that when you first wake up your emotions and feelings are at their highest. Are you happy? Are you truly happy? Or...do you drag yourself out of bed with a sigh and think..."alright here we go"?
Does money buy happiness, or does it just buy freedom. What IS true happiness and how do we obtain it? Can you slow down enough to sit down and think about your true feelings? Can you actually take the time to think about your life or do you find yourself always keeping busy, scared of being alone with your thoughts.
Ask yourself what it is that you actually want. What do you want? Do you feel that you're caught in a constant rhythm going nowhere? What do you see in your future? Are there things in your past and current life that you wish you could accept , learn from, grow stronger and then move on?
Why is it that so many of us are caught up in our past to a point that it's hindering us from moving forward in life? Sure you may go to work, school, and have a family, but at the end of the day many of us hide behind a wall for emotional security, scared to let anyone in or to look at ourselves in the mirror . Many of us try to portray a confident, smart, and secure appearance yet beneath the "show" we lack the motivation, inspiration and depth to push forward in life obtaining true happiness while inspiring others to change their life as well.
True happiness comes from within - understanding the reality of life's true joys and miseries and being able to understand yourself as you set goals for your future. Happiness is strength and passion for life, passion for wanting to feel free and realizing that life is about decisions that can change the outcome of your future.
Many of us are unhappy about certain areas of our lives but don't know how to change these areas. In many cases we may feel undeserving of certain things and fear possible enjoyment.
How old are you? How many years does the average person live? Time is not something we can waste yet many of us do in certain areas like our job or relationships. People with millions of dollars are unhappy and we often here of celebrities attempting suicide. Why? Perhaps they don't love themselves. Many people don't love who they are. How can you love who you are if you don't know who you are? Who are you? look in the mirror and ask yourself that. What can you offer the world or someone else? Your answer should be love and inspiration.
We are so lucky to have the girt of life and have the freedom to choose the path we want to take. Many of us worry about things that don't matter and perhaps think clothes, plastic surgery, or money will help fill a an empty void inside us. True happiness comes from making someone smile or believing that you have the opportunity to do anythin if you only put your mind to it and then doing it.
Stop feeling sorry for yourself and realize what you have. There is always something to be thankful for and unless your dead you can always make a difference in someone's life, even if that something is small like a smile or inspiring someone through your positive actions. Be a leader, you have the opportunity to make a difference in your life while inspiring others to do the same.
We all make mistakes in life and sometimes worry about things that don't matter. We all need to start over in certain areas at some point in life but it's the mistakes we make that strengthen who we are as individuals. We may have regrets and that's fine, however those regrets should be looked at as learning experience's used to shape our individuality, adding depth and substance to who we are.
Everyone has to endure pain and suffering in their life but it's how we deal with it that shapes us as individuals. We can't be scared to accept painful scenarios and circumstances in our lives. If we are unable to accept life's harsh realities than we will never be content with who we are or able to love ourselves or anyone else. If we can't eliminate negativity then we'll be left feeling undeserving of good things while we push away the possibility of true happiness. You have to know where you've been and where you are before you can decide where it is you want to go.
Many of us are lost and if we don't start figuring out who we are we'll eventually "crash". Crashing could mean alcohol, drug, and substance abuse or even attempted suicide. We have so much to be grateful for and success doesn't come from money or power, it comes from knowing you had the strength to make certain decisions concerning your life that led to positive outcomes. The smallest of choices can have astronomical effects on our lives so we must think before we act. Feel good about doing something positive every morning before you leave the house. Never settle for mediocrity and do what's best for you while knowing you only deserve the best from life.
The world is full of so much turmoil at this point in our existence and many people say that one person can't make a difference. You CAN make a difference...in your own life, your children's lives, and in the lives of others. Understand that you have so much to be grateful for no matter what your circumstances are in life. We can all become better human beings by finding the courage, strength , motivation and desire to change ourselves as we strive to accomplish goals and make a difference in people's lives. Love yourself, have pride, be strong, and know you deserve true happiness - it comes from within. Set some new goals and find the courage to stand up and decide your future. With enough determination and confidence you can start to change your life. YOU'RE ALIVE!...there's just so much more to life than many of us actually realize. Don't be afraid to live and love.
